About Us

Portrait of Mediator and Workplace Investigator Lindsey Wagner

Attorney Lindsey Wagner, AWI-CH

In her extensive legal experience, Lindsey has recognized the human and financial costs that come with workplace litigation. She strives to help create solutions that promote a balance of justice for both employees and employers alike.

With a vision to make meaningful contributions to the legal industry, Lindsey founded Moxie. Our mission is to be an agent of positive change by offering workplace training and ethical investigations that deter costly litigation while providing creative resolutions when needed through mediation services.

Lindsey is a California, Florida, and Ohio licensed attorney.  Lindsey is also an Association of Workplace Investigators (AWI) Certificate Holder, meaning that she has demonstrated success at achieving the core knowledge and skills necessary to perform impartial workplace investigations.

Lindsey was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio. She was awarded a double Bachelor of Arts degree in both Political Science and Journalism at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio and her Juris Doctor at Stetson University in Gulfport, Florida, with a concentration in International Law. In college, she studied at Universidad Pablo de Olavide in Seville, Spain and in law school, she studied in the United Kingdom at the Stetson Law Autumn in London Program. Subsequently, she earned a Certificate in Health and Hospital law from Seton Hall School of Law.

After graduating law school, Lindsey worked as an associate at an insurance litigation firm before commencing her career as a labor and employment lawyer with Scott Wagner and Associates, P.A., serving clients in Florida, California, and Ohio. Her legal practice included assisting employers and employees in employment litigation (state and federal) and arbitration matters as well as employment-related counseling and compliance, including workplace training and workplace investigations, drafting handbooks and workplace policies.

She has successfully advocated for clients in state and federal courts across a range of important employment issues, including discrimination/retaliation claims, wage disputes, wrongful terminations, whistleblower grievances and restrictive covenants. Her proactive approach to mediation has helped us resolve numerous challenging cases.

Lindsey is passionate about her volunteer work with the legal community. She is on the Executive Council for the Florida Bar Association Labor and Employment Section as well as a member of the Association's  Entertainment, Arts and Sports Law Section . She is Employee Co-Chair for  Membership Outreach with the  Labor and Employment Committee for the American Bar Association, and Dinner Committee Co-Chair and Editorial Board Member of LA Lawyer Magazine for the Los Angeles County Bar Association (LACBA) Labor and Employment CLE Committee. Lindsey is a member of the Southern California Mediation Association (SCMA), the Association of Workplace Investigators (AWI), and the Columbus Chamber of Commerce.

Lindsey splits her time between California, Florida and Ohio.
